About Us

Sad to say, there is no longer an "Us."  My life long love, the late, great Coach Gene Morrow, died unexpectedly.  Our only son was killed in a construction accident when he was knocked off the roof of the three-story home he was building for his new bride and himself.
On a happier note, I have a wonderful daughter, Geni, best ever son-in-law Charlie, and four world-class grand children, Ali, J.T., Casey Jo and Alyssa.   And, of course, my beloved poms.
In our youth we raised show Samoyeds, or better said, I did.  Gene's love and legendary career was football, but he was always there to help when I needed him.

After the Sammies we had no dogs in our home for many, many years, only cats, the last one our beautiful white long-haired "Prissy" who died of kidney failure at age 17, three months after Gene died, also of kidney failure.
Before Gene's death, thinking dogs again but knowing that with his health issues it would be beyond me to raise, train, groom, show and breed large working dogs by myself, I started researching the toy breed I call "little Samoyeds", which culminated a few years later in Gale Rivers of GayEl's Pomeranians in Washington State letting us have the promising Pomeranian bitch puppy who became CHAMPION GAYEL'S SHOWBOAT RAZ BERRIE, AOM, by Champion Keepsakes Berrie Traditional, ROM x  Champion GayEl's Miss Kitty.

My love of Poms was born.  I sold my tax practice, sold my building and settled in to enjoy retirement with these wonderful dogs.  Raz Berrie is my heart dog and foundation bitch in a small show breeding program.  She and my cream girl "SoSo" were Gene's therapy when he started becoming sick and also my therapy and link to sanity when Gene left this life.
I have included in this modest website a presentation of our long-ago dogs of Wildcliffe by-the-sea Samoyeds, and of course my now forever loves, the Showboat Pomeranians.

Thank you so much for visiting.   Emails are always welcome.  Like most dog fanciers, I love to "talk dogs."
